The Great Adventure Continues!

God is so faithful!

When God brings a close to something, we can count on, He has already prepared a opening to something else!  We can refer to these happenings as open and shut doors, windows, events or seasons, the important perspective we must have is expectation ( faith ) of our Father for the new thing!  He will always bring the new and distinguish it from the old!  Thank you Jesus!

We believe Tumaini Children's Home is continuing in transition and be apart of a Biblical crossing over into new beginnings, in this area.

These are two of many scriptures God has given us to confirm what we believe.

Isaiah 43:19 " For I am about to do a brand-new thing.  See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?  I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home.  I will create rivers for them in the desert!"

Revelation 3:8  " I  know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can shut.  You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me!"

All new beginnings have good - byes with them which is always hard but again God makes good of all things.  Our family here at Tumaini are a great group of  people.  Some one who has been exceptional here is Ken, he has been a volunteer with us for the last 3 months.  Ken is a young man with very high motivations and a great faith in God.  He has shown us all this, not by words but by his life and treatment of all he has helped care for.   Ken will be going to University this next month and we will all miss him incredibly! Join us in praying blessings on Ken's life and the impact we know he will make for the future of Kenya.  We tried to express our appreciation of him and his work as best we could by celebrating with him!

We love you and will miss you Ken!

The new thing!

About a week ago we were approached to join with Moi University in their chapter of AIESEC, a world wide student exchange program.  This program connects  university students from all over the world with Org.s, Business and NGOs in Kenya to give them a cultural experience in the area of their studies.  We are so excited to get to know and be part of a new thing involving young people from all over the world, who will have their intern experience here at Tumaini helping us as volunteers.

This group of students who brought the request information so blessed us!  They were so enthusiastic, respectful and encouraging.  We look forward to God blessing this relationship and experience for all of us!

Please watch with us in prayer for more of the new thing God is doing here at Tumaini! Dan. 4:17  Do not forget to consider being part of our family by becoming a child sponsor!  Contact us and get all your information on www.tchkenya.com.  We pray the Father's abundant love and provision be all of ours as we join Him in His advancing kingdom work on earth!
Love and appreciation from  Horace & Phyllis, Troy & Dannon and everyone here at Tumaini Children's Home, Eldoret Kenya.
